24 Feb 2023 ENGINEERING SERVICE FOR THE FORMATION OF THE ROAD REGISTER – MUNICIPALITY OF ROME – MUNICIPIO XII
SINA, of the ASTM Group, is carrying out surveys to form the road register for the Municipality of Rome – Municipio XII.
The project comprises all the services necessary to form the road register, including the survey on signage, driveways and house numbers of the streets present in Municipio XII, resulting in the creation of a GIS, or geographic information system.
In particular, the following activities will be carried out:
- Field verification of the mileage of the road network present within Municipio XII, including private and community roads.
- Survey, acquisition and processing of data and videos in order to identify, locate and take a census of the elements related to the road network in question.
- Creation and population of the database containing the necessary information to create the Road Register, pursuant to Italian Ministerial Decree 01.06.2001, and to manage the roadway infrastructure and activities under the jurisdiction of the Municipio.
- Implementation of a road information system, in a GIS environment, for the navigation and management of the Road Register and the activities of the Technical Unit.
Implementation of a dedicated Information System is envisaged, with associated training and “on-the-job” shadowing services for Client personnel. The regional information system should make it possible to optimise the management of municipal road heritage using IT systems.
