SINA- ASTM Group will participate in the Technical Conference in Rome on Road Durability “Roma Regina Viarium: The Roads of the Roman World with a Focus on Durability of Yesterday and Today.”
The event, which will take place in Rome on April 17 at the Ara Pacis, was organized by the Applied Engineering Commission for Cultural Heritage of the Order of Engineers of Rome, together with the Order’s Foundation and the Roman Historical Group during the MMDCCLXXVII anniversary celebrations of the founding of the city of Rome.
The conference aims to celebrate the glories of ancient Roman roads by taking the opportunity to take stock regarding the technological evolution of the road system from the Romans to the present day. Authoritative speakers during the day will include SINA-Ing. Roberto Arditi, who will present a talk entitled “The Roman road system: conception and consequences on today’s networks.”
Participation in the conference grants engineers 4 CFPs for the purpose of updating professional skills.
